How to Obtain Post Licensing Education in Real Estate

realtor in front of a houseFor students in Nevada who have completed their first year of education in Nevada real estate law and are looking to do their first Nevada real estate license renewal, may want to take a post licensing course. This course looks at helping students maintain the level of knowledge that they need throughout the sales process and real estate field during their first year of license.

Essentially, it provides individuals with practical knowledge and insight into specific situations that will help individuals provide the best client experience possible during both the sale and listing process. The post-licensing course is a total of thirty hours which covers the following fifteen major topics:

  • Contracts
  • Listings
  • Buyer Representation
  • Technology
  • Ethics
  • Advertising
  • Equity and Cost
  • Agency Relationships
  • Land
  • Disclosures
  • Property Management
  • Escrow
  • Financing
  • Negotiation
  • Taxes

Now this post-licensing program does give an individual a certificate once they have completed the total thirty hour requirement. However, the hour(s) requirement does not need to be done in one sitting and can actually be done over the course of several sessions over a course of several months. This makes the program incredibly flexible for those who have extremely busy schedules. Keep in mind that this must be done in class or through live streaming video for those who qualify. The course will include the following:

  • Specialized instructors that teach the various topics
  • Flexible schedule allowing students to attend when they are available
  • No sales pitch
  • Time tested by over 2,500 students

For those who have already done their first year Nevada real estate license renewal and are into their second year, may want to choose to go with a home study course or an online course to help refresh their knowledge.
