What Does a Community Association Manager Do?

A community association manager is a person in charge of supervising a community association, as in a neighborhood, a condominium association, etc. The daily operation of a community association manager includes meeting with the board of directors, preparing budgets, and community business management. Some general administrative duties include customer service, documenting and keeping records, understanding contracts, reviewing policy, and making recommendations as needed. Maintenance is an area in which the community association manager has the most control. This includes the common/shared areas of the community. The common areas should be safe, maintained, and properly insured, under the community association manager’s supervision.

Key Realty School provides students with the pre-licensing courses they need in order to get their community association manager license (CAM license). All of our classes are taught by highly qualified instructors who are recognized in the field for their own achievements and contributions. At Key Realty, we focus all our materials on providing students with the best association management education possible. Through an interactive classroom environment, students are exposed to the necessary materials for certification and are taught in a manner that encourages them to remember the material. For more information on how you can receive your CAM license, contact Key Realty School today.
