You may be surprised to discover that realty school isn’t just for realtors. While northern Nevada real estate school certainly does offer real estate licensing as well as continuing education, broker licensing and post licensing, that’s only the beginning. Check out what else real estate school has to offer:
Appraisal
Real estate appraisals are often used by a wide variety of people and business entities such as lenders, lawyers, property owners, and insurance companies. Federal law requires all individuals appraising property to be state license or certified.
Inspection
An inspector performs a detailed and comprehensive inspection of the exterior and interior of a property. There is a high demand for inspectors due to the fact companies require inspections on all properties being sold.
Mortgage Lending
In order to meet state and federal standards, mortgage lenders must have 30 hours of training, 20 of which apply to Secure and Fair Enforcement (SAFE) Act standards. Realty school ensures these requirements are met by providing Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS)-approved training.
Property Management
Property management is currently one of the most popular fields in the real estate industry. It’s important to note that in order to receive a property management permit, one must first have an active real estate license. A property management permit only requires 24 hours of classroom education as well as a passing score on a property management examination.
Association Management
This 60-hour course is required to receive a Community Association Management (CAM) certificate. Course material covers a broad range of subjects from legal basics, contracts, and insurance to mediation, human resources and people skills. Continuing education programs are also available.
Whether it’s in a classroom setting, online or by correspondence, classes in these areas of real estate can help you achieve your career goals.
