1. How do I renew my Nevada real estate license?

   To renew your license, you must complete the required continuing education hours before your expiration date and submit your renewal application to the Nevada Real Estate Division. Key Realty School provides state-approved courses and reminders to help you stay on track, so renewal is never stressful.

2. How often do I need CE to renew my Nevada real estate license?

   Nevada real estate licensees must complete CE hours every renewal cycle. CE must be completed every two years for license renewal. However, first-time licensees are required to complete 30 hours of post-licensing education within the first year of licensure. 

   Requirements may vary depending on your license type (Salesperson, Broker-Salesperson, or Broker). 

3. What are the mandatory topics for Nevada real estate continuing education?

   Mandatory CE topics include:  

   • Ethics

4. What if I miss my renewal deadline?

5. What is the difference between Nevada real estate post-licensing education and continuing education?

   Post-licensing education is required for new licensees during their first renewal period, while continuing education (CE) is ongoing education required for every renewal thereafter. Post-licensing provides foundational training, while CE helps you stay current with Nevada law and sharpen your skills throughout your career. 

6. Can I split courses between live and online?

   Yes! Many students mix and match formats based on their learning style and unique circumstances. However, at least ½ of all hours (or 18 hours of live instruction) are required for CE renewal.  

7. Do your courses meet Nevada Real Estate Division (NRED) requirements?

   Absolutely. All CE courses are NRED-approved and tailored to Nevada’s laws and practices.
