Requirements for Nevada Real Estate License

Real Estate License Requirements in the State of Nevada

If you are looking to become a Nevada real estate agent, check out the following list of licensing requirement steps you’ll need according to the Real Estate Division of Nevada:

  • Fill out Application Form 549
  • Submit Fingerprint Cards with a payment of $40.25 to the “Department of Public Safety”
  • Complete 45 hours or 3 college credits in Real Estate Principles
  • Complete 45 hours or 3 college credits in Real Estate Law (must include 18 hours of Nevada Law)
  • Complete 15 hours or 1 college credit in contracts in real estate transaction (to the extent allowed in the capacity of the licensee)
  • Complete 15 hours or 1 college credit in agency, which must include 3 hours of foundation of relationship between broker and agents and 3 hours of risk reduction
  • Submit transcripts or certificates for pre-licensing education from a Nevada-approved real estate school
  • Pay Licensing Fee of $140
  • Submit Nevada State and national passing exam results dated within the last 12 months
